8 More Weeks!

Hi all! If everything goes as planned, I have about 8 weeks left, which makes me 32 weeks on Wednesday. New things:

1. I am a lot bigger, and definitely feeling it. I cannot wait to no longer be pregnant. Prior to being pregnant, I thought that wearing pants with elastic in the waste would be awesome, but I was totally wrong. Maternity pants suck. I don't think I would hate them so much if it wasn't so warm out. My problem is that they tend to wiggle their way down, which makes them hang long in the crotch area, creating sweat...not fun.

2. The baby is moving like crazy! I hate it when he is way up in my ribs. I literally sit there and try to push him down. Sometimes my stomach looks so weird when I can actually see a limb sticking out, or when my stomach moves when he moves. I wonder if anyone else notices that.

Here is my new rocker recliner! I love it! Jake and I went shopping to look at glider rockers and realized that they are quite expensive. For not much more money we could have a lovely rocker recliner. Again, I love this chair. After I sat in it in the store, I could hardly think of anything else. Jake is also nice enough that if I even enter the room and he is in it, he just gives it up to me. I feel it was a very smart and useful purchase.

This is me 31 1/2 weeks prego.

Here is the crib all set up with the mattress and bedding. I had a very difficult time picking bedding. I didn't want anything too dark, and I didn't really want a theme at all. I just wanted colors and patterns. This is very hard to find in baby boy bedding. I really like the colors and I like turtles and frogs, so all is good. I also liked the polka dot pattern on the sheets!

Hopefully soon we will be able to do more with the baby room. We have the dresser, but it needs some touch ups on the paint because it got a little scratched up en route to Huron, but I'm very glad my mom brought it and came for a visit!
